ARTIST’S  STATEMENT

The photographs of the paintings I have included, form a cohesive suite entitled "Head Games."  They are whimsical, haunting, sweet, sinister, iconic, confrontational and most of all highly colorful.

In my latest series of drawings, I seek to explore labyrinthine patterns within a dense field of abstraction.  Some of the drawings are dominated by geometric forms, other by organic entities.  There is the occasional touch of colored ink - sometimes blue, sometimes red - and embedded in all, words that have particular significance to me.
